Payment Radar Every payment followed up automatically, except cash
Payment Radar automatically follows up every payment from your customers and business customers, except cash. It works automatically as soon as you receive payments through Pay. in BIQSDRIVE, and with the bank connection through Ponto for your bank transfers too. BIQSDRIVE matches each payment to the right customer, customer file or order and sends reminders according to your settings. You only check what the radar could not match itself.
What you can do with it
Bank transfers through Ponto
Through Ponto, the account information service of Isabel NV, you connect the bank account your customers pay into. New transfers come in automatically, without downloading bank statements or retyping amounts.
Card, payment link and tap-to-pay through Pay.
Payments through your Pay. account land on the right order straight away: online, in the customer portal or the business portal, with tap-to-pay at the start of the session or at the terminal at the front desk.
Matched automatically
Payment Radar matches every bank transfer based on the structured payment reference, the order or file number, the amount and the payer's account number, which identifies a known customer. The outstanding balance of the order and the file updates itself.
Only check what doesn't match
A bank transfer that cannot be matched automatically goes to 'To review'. You match it yourself to a customer, file or order, or mark it as not a customer payment.
Timely reminders
If an amount is still outstanding after the due date, a reminder goes out according to your settings: whether, when and with which text. The default template is a free first reminder with at least 14 days to pay.
Always an up-to-date overview
For each customer, file and order, you see whether payment was made, how much, when and how: by bank transfer, through Pay. or in cash. Your accounting software receives the payments too.
How Payment Radar works
From the bank transfer on your account to the right file or order, without you retyping anything.
Connect your account
In BIQSDRIVE, you connect the bank account your customers pay into, through Ponto. You grant access yourself, at your own bank, with strong authentication. Payments through your Pay. account always go through Payment Radar.
Import and filter
Ponto supplies the transactions of that account. BIQSDRIVE filters them straight away: only incoming payments from customers remain. Outgoing transactions, balances, payouts from Pay. and transfers between your own accounts are not stored.
Match
Every incoming bank transfer is matched to the right customer or business customer, the right file or the right order, based on the structured payment reference, the order or file number, the amount and the payer's account number. Payments through Pay. are already on the right order.
Check what is left
Anything that cannot be matched automatically stays in 'To review' for at most 30 days. You match it by hand or mark it as not a customer payment.
Remind
For anything still outstanding after the due date, a reminder goes out according to your settings. If the bank connection is interrupted, reminders pause until everything has been imported again. So nobody who has already paid gets a reminder.
How much time do you save?
Following up payments by hand is a small daily chore: opening the bank statement, finding the payer, recording the payment in the file or on the order and checking who still has to pay. Work out what that means for your training centre.
This is a worked example based on assumptions, not a measured average. The values filled in are an example for a training centre with 200 payments a month, 80 of them bank transfers. Enter your own figures. Payments through Pay. land on the right order straight away, so they don't count here as time saved, but they do count for the platform fee.
What does Payment Radar cost?
0.15%
per registered payment excl. VAT
You only pay when a payment is made: a platform fee on the amount of every payment that Payment Radar registers.
Transaction costs per payment method and payment terminals See pricing for training centres
- If you receive payments through Pay. in BIQSDRIVE, Payment Radar works automatically: the platform fee applies to every successful payment through Pay. online, by tap-to-pay or at a terminal. So as long as you use Pay. for payments, Payment Radar is on.
- If you connect your bank account through Ponto, it also applies to every bank transfer matched to a customer, file or order, automatically or by you. Not to cash payments, payouts from Pay. into your account, transfers between your own accounts, failed or cancelled payments, or bank transfers that are not matched. Each payment counts once.
- The fee is calculated on the full amount, including VAT and before transaction costs are deducted, and remains due if the payment is later refunded.
- No fixed cost for Ponto or Pay. Only a payment terminal has a service fee of €22.95 per terminal per month.
- The transaction costs of Pay. per payment method come on top. Pay. charges them directly.
- Invoiced per calendar month in arrears, with an overview of every registered payment: date, amount, source and customer, file or order.
- Not during the free trial. You can receive real payments through Pay. and connect your bank account from the activation of your subscription, and Payment Radar works straight away from then on.
In the subscription terms, Payment Radar is called Payment Automation. All the rules are in Annex D. Read Annex D
Also handy
- For customers and for employers who pay for their staff
- One overview of all payments by source: bank transfer, Pay. or cash
- Record cash payments yourself, so every balance is correct
- Works automatically as soon as you use Pay. or connect your bank account
- Your payments and matches are included in your data export
- Your accounting software receives the payments too
For Ponto and Pay. you conclude your own agreement with Isabel NV and with Pay. During a suspension of your subscription, Payment Radar pauses. Your agreement with Pay. and your payment terminals keep working; the 0.15% platform fee remains due on payments through Pay.
Secure, with only the data we need
Only customer payments stored
BIQSDRIVE only stores incoming payments matched to a customer, file or order. Outgoing transactions, such as wages and supplier payments, and your balances are never stored.
Erased after 30 days
A bank transfer that is not matched stays visible for at most 30 days. If you mark it as not a customer payment, it is erased straight away.
Account numbers only for the finance role
Only users with a finance role see payers' account numbers. The AI agents do not retrieve account numbers or imported bank transactions; they do see whether an order has been paid and for what amount.
Consent at your own bank
You grant access yourself, at your bank, and confirm it again every 180 days. 14 days before and on the day itself, you get a notification in BIQSDRIVE and an email. You can revoke it at any time.
Reminders paused during an interruption
If the bank connection stops, BIQSDRIVE imports no new bank transfers and the automatic reminders pause, until the connection is restored and the missing transactions have been imported.
BIQSDRIVE never touches your money
Isabel NV (Ponto) is supervised by the National Bank of Belgium, and Pay. by De Nederlandsche Bank, the Dutch central bank. Pay. pays out your receipts directly to your account. BIQSDRIVE does not receive or hold money and does not initiate payments.
FAQ
Questions about Payment Radar
Can I use Pay. without Payment Radar?
No. If you receive payments through Pay. in BIQSDRIVE, Payment Radar works automatically: a 0.15% platform fee per payment, on top of the transaction costs of Pay. With Pay. you receive the payments: online, in the portals, with tap-to-pay or at a terminal. Payment Radar follows them up, and with the bank connection through Ponto your bank transfers too: it matches everything to the right customer or business customer, the right file or the right order and sends reminders for what is outstanding. You choose whether to use Pay. and the bank connection. You record cash payments yourself, without a platform fee.
What is Ponto?
Ponto is the account information service of Isabel NV in Brussels, a payment institution supervised by the National Bank of Belgium. Through Ponto, BIQSDRIVE reads the transactions of the account you connect. BIQSDRIVE only uses Ponto to read: it does not initiate payments and never touches your money.
Which account do I connect?
Only the account or accounts your customers pay into. Even from that account, BIQSDRIVE only stores the incoming customer payments that are matched to a customer, file or order.
What if access to my bank expires?
Every 180 days, you confirm access again at your bank. 14 days before and on the day itself, you get a notification in BIQSDRIVE and an email. If access does expire, the automatic reminders pause until the connection is restored and the missing bank transfers have been imported. So nobody gets a reminder for something that has already been paid.
Does Payment Radar send reminders to my customers by itself?
Only if you want it to. You decide whether, when and with which text reminders go out. As the creditor, you remain responsible for the rules on reminders to consumers (Book XIX of the Belgian Code of Economic Law). That is why the default template is a free first reminder with at least 14 days to pay.
Which payments count towards the platform fee?
Every successful payment through Pay. and every bank transfer matched to a customer, file or order, automatically or by you, counts once, at 0.15% of the full amount. Cash payments, transfers between your own accounts, payouts from Pay. into your account, failed or cancelled payments and bank transfers that are not matched do not count. Every month, you get an overview with your invoice.
Can I test Payment Radar during the trial?
No. Payment Radar is a usage service, like text messages and itsme®, and is available from the activation of your subscription. Because payments through Pay. always go through Payment Radar, you can only receive real payments through Pay. from activation too. You can already apply for your Pay. account during the trial, so you're ready at activation.
