Payments and tap-to-pay Paid before the lesson even starts
BIQS is a Pay. partner, so you open your merchant account directly from BIQSDRIVE. Your students pay online with a payment link or in their portal, at the front desk with a payment terminal, or in the car with tap-to-pay on the instructor's smartphone. Every payment goes straight to the right order, and a confirmed order automatically assigns the purchased hours.

Tap-to-pay in the car
At the start of the lesson, the student pays for that lesson or the outstanding balance with a bank card or smartphone, directly on the instructor's smartphone. No extra device, no cash.
Your Pay. account, set up from BIQSDRIVE
BIQS is a Pay. partner. You apply for your merchant account in BIQSDRIVE with a pre-filled form, upload the requested KYC documents and follow the status of your application.
Payment links
Email a payment link or copy it. If a company pays, the link goes to that company's billing address. Valid for 14 days by default.
Payment in the portals
Students pay open orders in the student portal, employers in the business portal. The public payment page works without a login.
Payment terminal at the office
Also take payments at the front desk? Buy a PAX A960 payment terminal through BIQSDRIVE, with SIM card and device management. You see the payment status in real time. A deposit or partial payment is possible too.
Link with your accounting
Orders and payments go straight to your accounting software, such as Exact Online, Billit, Yuki or Odoo, without double work. The file fee and administration fees are added to the order automatically.

Pay. charges transaction costs on every payment under your own Pay. agreement. You will find them below per payment method, together with the price of a payment terminal. Tap-to-pay works on a recent smartphone with NFC.

Transaction costs per payment method
These are the transaction costs when you receive payments with Pay. through BIQSDRIVE 27. They depend on the payment method and on where the payment is made: online, at a payment terminal or with tap-to-pay on a smartphone (SoftPOS). Pay. charges them directly, under your own Pay. agreement.

If you receive payments through Pay. in BIQSDRIVE, Payment Radar works automatically: a 0.15% platform fee per payment, on top of these transaction costs. Cash payments don't count. More about Payment Radar
The percentage is calculated on the payment amount. Example: for an online payment of €100, Pay. charges €0.15 + €1.50 = €1.65 in transaction costs with a consumer Mastercard, and €0.15 + €2.80 = €2.95 with a business Mastercard. Adding the Payment Radar platform fee (0.15%, here €0.15), that payment costs you €1.80 or €3.10 in total.
Consumer: a card from a private individual in the EU (for SoftPOS: in Europe). Business: a company card, or a card from outside the EU (for SoftPOS: outside Europe). This mainly occurs with the business portal. Online, a business card costs roughly double the percentage.
BIQSDRIVE may receive a fee from Pay. as its partner.

Taking payments at the front desk? You buy a payment terminal through BIQSDRIVE, ready for your Pay. account and linked with BIQSDRIVE. Terminals are for sale only, not for rent.
Included in the service fee
- Terminal management
- SIM card with mobile data for the payments
- Replacement device within 48 office hours of your report of a defect you did not cause, also after the 12-month warranty
Good to know
- 12-month warranty on hidden defects
- You cancel the service fee per terminal at the end of a calendar month. The terminal remains yours; management, SIM card and replacement device then end.
- The transaction costs at the terminal are in the Terminal column above. On top of that comes the Payment Radar platform fee: 0.15% per payment.

In more detail
- Your customers pay with Bancontact, Mastercard, Visa, Apple Pay and Google Wallet, with Wero as soon as it is available for your account, and with the other payment methods Pay. activates for you. For each payment you see which method was used.
- The digital file fee and your own administration fee are added to the order automatically: on every enrolment, only for a new customer, or only when you add them. For online enrolments you set a separate rule, and your customer sees the fee in the summary beforehand.
- Manage your own catalogue with a price and VAT rate per product, from packages and courses to administration and cancellation fees. For each product you choose whether it is for sale online, and in the order BIQSDRIVE fills in the price and VAT for you.
