Planning and calendar A schedule that thinks along with your driving school
Lessons, exams, group courses, leave and office time: everything is in one calendar. Drag an appointment to another time or make it longer or shorter, and BIQSDRIVE checks in real time whether the instructor, car, room and student are available. Plan your lessons per instructor, or use capacity planning: you open your lesson capacity per time block, students sign up for it and you only assign the instructor when the lesson starts.

List, month, week and day
Filter by branch, instructor, student, type or status. Each instructor has their own colour.
Smart conflict checks
Double bookings of an instructor, vehicle, room or student are detected in real time. For each branch you choose: ignore, warn or block.
Hours always right
For each enrolment you see the required, completed, planned and remaining hours. Planning more hours than are left is not possible.
Lesson proposals
Send a proposal to the student. They accept or decline with one click in the student portal, and the planner and instructor are notified straight away.
Capacity planning per time block
Instead of planning per instructor, open your lesson capacity per time block. Students sign up for a time block and you assign the instructor when the lesson starts.
Cancellations with a fee
Link a fee (a percentage or a fixed amount) to a cancellation reason. It is added to the open order automatically, with a late cancellation period per branch.

In more detail
- Lesson moved? The student automatically gets an email with the new and the originally agreed time, and confirms or declines with one click in the student portal. In the calendar you see at once which lessons are still waiting for an answer.
- Students book a lesson themselves in the free hours of a qualified instructor, within your time limits, for example at least 24 hours in advance and up to 3 weeks ahead. For each branch you choose whether a booking is confirmed immediately or first approved by the planning team, and the student hears by email whether their lesson goes ahead.
- Students automatically get a text message reminder of their lesson. For each branch you set how many hours in advance, 24 hours by default.
- Each licence category has its own default lesson length, a maximum number of students per lesson (useful for group motorcycle lessons) and the choice of whether a vehicle is required. BIQSDRIVE only allows instructors who are qualified for that category and work at that branch, and refuses a blocked car.
- The availability a student gives when enrolling online goes into their file, and with your own availability statuses you decide which times block the schedule. Each instructor's weekly working hours determine which free times students see in the portal.
- Capacity planning, a different way to plan. Instead of scheduling each lesson per instructor, you set your lesson capacity per time block, for example six lessons on Tuesday morning. Students sign up for a time block themselves. When the lesson starts, you assign an instructor to the candidate. For the next lesson, the planning agent suggests an instructor based on availability, location, vehicle, licence category and language, and keeps the same instructor where possible.
- Coming soon Staff request leave in the instructor environment on their smartphone. You approve it after checking the planned lessons, and the leave then goes into the calendar automatically and is closed for online booking. HR and time tracking
